Audectra v1.2.4 released!

I know it’s been long since the last update on this project, but I am now a proud Bachelor of Science, which is a huge milestone for me in my life!

For this version of Audectra I’ve focused on the computational performance and tried to optimize it where I could. Even though it’s much better then before, it’s not yet fully optimized (in terms of memory consumption).

Another big change is a self-scaling controller, which automatically scales the three channels (Bass, Midds, Highs) for you, so you will never ever have to wonder about trigger levels or divider settings again! Just lean back and enjoy it with every genre and song you like!

Changelog from v1.2.3 to v1.2.4

  • Spectrograph stopped working with a new update of .NET Framework. Fixed that bug.
  • Kicked out the annoying Trigger Level and Divider settings for a self scaling controller.
  • New Icon
  • Increased contrast in Spectrum Graph.
  • Slightly decreased CPU and Memory Consumption of Music Controlled Mode.
  • Slightly decreased CPU and Memory Consumption of Spectrum Graph.
  • Decreased CPU Consumption for Beat Detection Modes by up to 72%.
  • Slightly decreased Memory Consumption for Beat Detection Modes. (will be improved later on)
  • Improved BPM Probability Calculation for secondary Peaks at half or double of the estimated BPM.
  • Slightly improved the “Look” of the Beat Detection Graph.
  • Some other minor changes

Audectra is free for everyone and we want to keep it like that. However, the project is endangered by all sorts of costs (server; domain; development of software, mods and Audectra kits) and not to forget about all the time that we spend on running the sites, giving support to everyone who needs help, research and development.

Therefore, if you would like to support us and accelerate the development, please make a donation. Help us keeping Audectra free for everyone! Thank you!

Don’t just listen to music, experience it!
